Upon graduating from the Savannah College of Art & Design, I skipped easily into graphic design, spending seven years working for a boutique design and print studio in Manhattan. Life eventually brought my husband, Montgomery, and I home to Lafayette, Louisiana, where I currently design from my sunny home studio with the help of my two kitties, Bernie and Bosco.
Hark Creative Co. was founded in 2017 as the merging of my creative skills and inability to resist inspiration in everything I see. My passions include crafting fresh, unique paper suites for weddings and social occasions, thoughtful collaborations and tending to my ever-growing collections of fonts and dresses.

Literally! Born in California, raised in Louisiana, with stints in NYC, Texas and Florida (oh, and my family is from Idaho!) I am no stranger to moving. I like to think all of those new starts helped me finetune my ability for reading minds and getting to the “heart” of what matters most to you. Whether you're planning a wedding in Massachusetts, Mexico, or home sweet home Lafayette, I've got you covered.
MOVER AND SHAKER
Growing up, I dreamed of owning my own office supply store. The draw? That feeling I got when selecting a fresh notebook, binder, folder, or pen set each August. I still get those same butterflies when a new envelope swatch book arrives or the US Postal Service announces a new stamp. (It might also have been because my brother’s name is Max and I thought “Office Cait” had a better ring to it.)

“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” Pablo Picasso had it figured out. Inspiration always finds me working. Each with their own story and vision, my clients are a constant supply of creative musings, innovative ideas and fresh takes on the most meaningful paper suite you’ll ever mail out. I can’t wait for your story to unfold.

"Hark" is a verb meaning to listen intently. I believe a great design intently captures the attention of the intended audience. I also believe all great designs start by intently listening to the needs & wishes of those I serve. Creating custom designs you are excited to share with your guests, friends, customers (and beyond!) is the heart and "Hark" of what I do.
